Apple Pie Delight

This delightful tea fills the room with the smell of Mom’s apple pie! Real apple pieces and cinnamon chips work together with the red rooibos to bring a cup of tea rich in antioxidants and beneficial alpha hydroxy acids. Add marigold petals to create a tea that is warming, festive and cozy. Naturally sweet and inviting, apple cinnamon tastes too good to be good for you, but it is!

Rooibos is a caffeine-free alternative tea that offers similar health benefits to tea without caffeine. Rooibos teas come from the Cedarburg area of the Western Cape of South Africa.  Red rooibos has a robust mineral earthy body similar to black tea.

Caffeine Level: Rooibos tea does not contain caffeine and has low tannin levels compared to black tea or green tea. Rooibos contains is packed full of polyphenols similar to tea.

Cinnamon is known to regulate blood sugar levels.

Brewing Instructions: Start with cold water and bring water to just under a boil (180° – 190°). Pour hot water over and steep 4-6 minutes.

Makes 20 cups.
